The Morph (Metamorphosis healing)
The morph is a process of erasing a block or unconscious stress pattern. Releasing a block enables us to live a harmonious and stress free life.
A common question is… how long does a morph last.?
The ease of erasing a block is determined by the identification with the stress pattern and the habit associated with the repeated pattern. The morph is delayed by the desire to have a quick fix for a symptom, e.g. succumbing to the advice of another rather than finding the answer for oneself.
It is important to note that if you hand over your authority to another person to prescribe or make decisions for your wellbeing, you weaken your own ability to find the strength in yourself. I’m not saying that morphing isn’t challenging and indeed it’s understandable when some oscillate between therapy, remedy, medication etc for the relief of symptoms. However, Metamorphosis enables us to create balance for ourselves without discipline or control. When the block is transmuted, the symptom and the memory of the symptom is forgotten.
Robert St John said that “we can’t walk down two roads at the same time”. Metamorphosis is about resolving our own difficulty and if necessary, with the support of a catalyst. Other approaches prescribe a remedy/medication or refer to the past to find a solution to the problem in the present. This is subjective and a limitation as the past contains chaos and Robert observed… ”that this creates more chaos”. He said “turn to your inner self and know the answer but never look back”. The creative option is to do Metamorphosis and find an objective solution to the problem.
The Metamorphosis catalyst encourages regular practise of the Hand Symbols to create balance, as it is the balance of Afference and Efference that is the ‘healing factor’.
I recall a young woman saying during a treatment that she was overcoming her eating disorder, but the urge to leave the table following a meal to make herself sick was persisting. However, she said that the great thing about Metamorphosis was that the Hand Symbols helped her to catch herself in the disturbance. This enabled her to leave the bathroom without getting sick, feeling guilt free and more at ease. What happens is that the Hand Symbols create balance and a pause in the ‘moment’ in which the mind can change. Her pattern was beginning to morph at a fundamental level without control or force.
I’ve many examples of inspirational people who morphed their unconscious stress patterns and the following person was successful in erasing a smoking pattern… when I first treated her, she had chronic pain and anxiety and was smoking over 20 cigarettes a day. She did not intend to give up smoking as she enjoyed the habit. However, she arrived one day and mentioned that she repeatedly felt nauseated after only five cigarettes and when trying to smoke the sixth she actually felt sick. She was morphing or letting go of the block associated with her need to smoke. While the block was intact the smoking helped her to feel relaxed. However, as she was releasing the block the sickness was an indication that the cigarettes were creating a toxicity as she no longer needed a relaxing aid. The habit took some time longer but as she became less anxious in her new pattern she began to forget to light up.
An excellent example of successful morphing is a lady I first introduced to Metamorphosis way back in 1998 who spent time in and out of a psychiatric hospital. She had been prescribed Lithium for bi-polar disease 9 years earlier and was distressed having been told by the medical profession that she would be on the drug for life. When I first met her, she was quite unstable and lethargic. However, through a process of ongoing treatments and her Hand Symbols she responded creatively and gradually began to create her balance. Her psychiatrist, observing her improved stability began to reduce her dosage of Lithium. She was attending for regular Meta treatments and maintaining her balance with her Hand Symbols. The woman’s progress continued and without informing anyone she stopped taking the drug and continued attending for Meta treatments every week. The psychiatrist remarked on her positive stability and was astonished that she was no longer taking the Lithium. The woman informed her doctor about Metamorphosis and how she was creating her own balance with the support of a catalyst. The doctor passed it off with the expectation that her patient would be returning for another prescription very soon. It’s almost 20 years since that final appointment and she never looked back.
There is no doubt that the ongoing support of a Meta catalyst is crucial when morphing deep seated unconscious stress but, what has been paramount to the woman’s success is that Metamorphosis continues to be her way of life. Now, in her mid-seventies she spends her time enjoying her grandchildren, playing tennis and swimming daily… an inspirational woman who has created a wonderful quality of life, not only for herself, but has a positive ripple effect on her loved ones and ultimately future generations.
The balance of Afference and Efference creates natural energy and a sense of confidence in our own ability to morph…. thus erasing the negative effects of the past with the opportunity to enjoy life in the moment.
